The Story
We purchased a new Lexus LX570 this year and absolutely love it (more on that in another post)! Anyhow, we are driving to Kimberley a lot of weekends now to go skiing and there are a lot of rocks on the road! Anyhow, we got one of those big ones and being so scared it would run on our new car we called a chip repair clinic, but no one answered. Oh ya, this happened New Years Eve!
I then googled rock chip repair Calgary and an ad from Kijiji came up. We love Kijiji!
We called Dave and he answered the phone and was willing to come up to our house on New Years Day to fix the chip. He gave us specific instructions to make sure it wouldn't run before he got there.
Dave showed up on New Years Day to fix the windshield (he drove from south Calgary to north Calgary). He was awesome and fixed the chip with no problems. $30.00 for one chip and $15.00 for additional ones!
The Story Part 2
The very next weekend on our way to Kimberley we got our second rock chip. We called Dave about 2 minutes after it happened and again he was at our house Monday morning to fix it.
We love Dave's story as well, where he got layed off of his job about six months ago and started doing this mobile service. He is currently delivering pizzas to help get this business started.
